Peabody Trust is one of London's largest and oldest housing associations, as well as being a charity and community regeneration agency. Founded by George Peabody, an American philanthropist, in 1862, the Peabody Trust Group now owns or manages over 19,000 properties across 30 London boroughs, housing nearly 50,000 people.
It's our aim to be one of the country's foremost development and community regeneration agencies, an outstanding landlord and a first class organisation and social business. To this end, we work with local communities, the Greater London Authority, local government and a wide range of voluntary, private and public sector partners. Our mission? To improve the quality of housing and life for our residents, to tackle social exclusion and to build lasting, sustainable communities. |
